In Donetsk region, Ukraine’s border guard drone unit, Phoenix, has successfully targeted and destroyed Russian military assets. The operation resulted in the elimination of approximately ten Russian soldiers, the destruction of a D-30 howitzer, and several field depots containing fuel and ammunition. Additionally, a modern Russian electronic warfare system was neutralised.
These actions were part of ongoing efforts by Ukrainian forces to disrupt Russian military operations. The Phoenix unit, specialising in unmanned aerial systems, played a crucial role in identifying and striking these targets. The destruction of the D-30 howitzer and the electronic warfare system significantly impairs the Russian military’s operational capabilities in the region.
