Volunteer drone operators from KlimaTeam carried out a precise reconnaissance and engagement mission at a known enemy staging area on the riverbank, colloquially dubbed the “rakolovka”. The broadcast, part 37 of season two of the “13 yoblikiv” project, showcased two bespoke FPV drones – Eyes and Sting – as they surveyed and engaged Russian dictator’s infantry, dubbed “worms” by the crew.
The operation began with Eyes loitering low over the bank, its high‑resolution camera picking out movement among sparse bushes. Moments later, Sting swooped in unseen, deploying a miniature sting munition with surgical accuracy. The combined efforts of pilot Kozak and his team revealed three separate enemy positions, each attempting to blend into concrete debris or undergrowth.
Despite the playful banter that characterises the project’s Telegram feed, the mission underscored a serious evolution in volunteer drone warfare. The team’s “no invitation” policy for hostile forces was on full display: once a target was identified, there was no turning back. Footage showed drones performing agile acrobatics to avoid return fire, confirming hits on at least two combatants without sustaining any known damage to Ukrainian equipment.
Throughout the nearly nine‑minute sortie, KlimaTeam pilots maintained radio silence until the final moments, communicating only in coded phrases.
