The family members of the late Acting Masindi District Health Officer (DHO), Dr. Jino Abiriga, who was found dead near his gate, are seeking justice for the gruesome murder.
Dr. Abiriga’s body displayed signs of deep cuts, indicating a potential cold-blooded murder. Hellen Alioru, the deceased’s daughter, urged thorough investigations by security forces to apprehend the suspects.
Henry Atamati, Dr. Abiriga’s brother, and others echoed the demand for justice. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Tumvia village, Maracha district.
