Ugandan Athletes Receive Recognition from Janet K Museveni

First Lady Janet K Museveni, in a recent announcement, extended her warm congratulations to five outstanding Ugandan athletes for their remarkable performances at the ongoing African Games 2023 in Accra. She specifically praised Gladys Mbabazi, Husina Kobugabe, Davis Niyiyota, Fadilah Shamika, and Anna Muzito for their incredible achievements on the continental stage.

Additionally, Janet K Museveni applauded the Lady Cranes Rugby and Rugby Cranes teams for their impressive showings at the 7s Challenger Series in Montevideo, where they secured 4th and 6th place finishes respectively. She commended their efforts and acknowledged their contribution to raising Uganda’s profile in international sporting events.
