KATAKWI, Uganda – The LC3 chairperson of Okore sub-county in Katakwi District, Charles Ikabat, has urged parents to prepare their children to join secondary education next year at the newly established seed school in Okore.
Representing Cecilia Anyakoit, the Katakwi District woman MP aspirant, Ikabat announced this during the burial of Alukuri Sarah Beatrice in Adungulu village on September 9, 2024. He stated that the seed school is nearing completion and will be operational next year.
The Deputy RDC for Katakwi, Vincent Okwi, encouraged the public to educate their children to prevent the formation of harmful youth groups in the communities.
Meanwhile, Father Daniel Oreet, the Parish priest of Magoro Catholic mission, emphasized that well-behaved children are always recognized more than those with bad records. Oreet urged Christians to appreciate the work of catechists in their communities by offering them any available resources.
