Kisoro By-Election: Polling Stations Open, Minor Delays Reported

Voting for Kisoro District's Woman Parliamentary By-Election has begun, with some polling stations experiencing slight delays due to technical issues.

(Kisoro) – Voting for the Kisoro District Woman Parliamentary By-Election commenced early in the morning on November 14, 2024. At Kisoro New Park polling station in Kisoro municipality, a steady flow of voters had already cast their ballots by 8:48 AM. According to a report by our correspondent, by this time, 28 voters had participated in the election.

However, at the Rushabarara Primary School polling station in Rubuguri Town Council, there was a slight delay. Voting materials arrived late, at 8:50 AM, and technical difficulties with the biometric machines caused further delays. Despite these issues, the situation was quickly addressed, and polling resumed as normal.
