A Ugandan woman has left her ‘well-paying job’ after winning 480 million from Uganda Bettors Association fixed games.
Ruth Acen, a social worker hit her jackpot after being convinced by her friend to pay for these fixed games.
“I don’t know anything about betting, one day a friend of mine approached me and convinced me to join betting, I asked him if he was sure of what he was saying but he assured me. He said people have been winning a lot of money from fixed games, I said fine let’s give it a try,” she narrated.
“I visited their website, went through the subscription process and contacted them on how to go about it, they told me they would either stake for me or I would stake for myself but I asked them to stake for me since I have no idea about betting, they agreed and they asked me to forward my stake, I did and shared my bank details. The ticket won and they shared it and deposited the money into my account,”
“After receiving the money, I had to resign from my job to focus on my own growth,”
