Dan Matsiko Announces Nationwide Consultative Tour Ahead of 2026 Presidential Election

Presidential candidate for 2026-2031, Dan Matsiko, has announced a nationwide consultative tour set to take place from April 1, 2025, to June 2, 2025. The tour aims to engage citizens and promote democracy in preparation for the 2026 presidential elections.

The tour will begin in Bushenyi-Ishaka, where Matsiko will participate in a radio interview and media interface. From there, he will visit various districts, including Sheema, Shuuku, Rwampara, Mbarara, Ibanda, Kamwenge, Fort Portal, and Bundibugyo. He will spend some time in Fort Portal before proceeding to Kyenjojo, Kagadi, Kikuube, and Hoima districts.

Matsiko will continue his journey to Kiryandongo, Nwoya, Pakwach, Nebbi, Payeder, Zombo, Madi Okollo, Arua, Vurra, Maracha, Koboko, Yumbe, Moyo, Adjumani, Amuru, Elegu, and Gulu, where he will spend two days.

The tour will then proceed to Moroto Municipality, Nabilatuk, Amudat, Nakapiripirit Town, Muyembe Town, Bulambuli District, Kapchorwa, Sironko, and Mbale City. From there, Matsiko will visit Kachumbali, Kumi, Palisa, Ngora, Serere, Bukedea, Kapiir, and Soroti City.

Next, the tour will cover Kiryandongo, Apac Town, Luweero, Wakiso, Mukono, Kampala, Kayunga, Buikwe, Jinja, Kagoma, Kamuli, Kaliro, Buyende, Iganga, Mayuge, Namayunge, Busia Border Town, Tororo, and Malaba Border Town.

Matsiko will also visit Entebbe, Wakiso, Kalangala, Mpigi, Gomba, Ssembabule, Masaka, Kalungu, Kyotera, Rakai, Mbirizi, Lwengo District, Lyantonde, Rushere (Kiruhura), Kazo, Ibanda, Mbarara District, Buhweju, Sheema, Rwampara, Isingiro, and Ntungamo.

The final leg of the tour will take Matsiko to Rukiga, Kamwezi, Kabale, Rubanda, Kisoro, and Rukungiri districts.

Throughout the tour, Matsiko will engage with local leaders, participate in radio talk shows, and conduct media briefings. He has encouraged the public to participate in these consultative meetings, emphasizing their importance in promoting democracy and improving governance.
