Mbarara City, Uganda – Aspiring Mayor of Mbarara Seth Murari has issued a heartfelt message of appreciation and reassurance to his supporters, following a tense and highly charged campaign season.
Murari began by thanking those who stood by him, expressing deep gratitude for their love, belief, and unwavering support of his political vision and manifesto.
“I thank you so much for believing in me and loving my agenda as well as my manifesto,” Murari said. “Your devotion and determination throughout the campaign have deeply moved me.
I remain grateful to all those who genuinely walked with me, hand in hand, every step of the way.”
He acknowledged the delay in communication, citing a recent illness brought on by a severe flu. Despite this setback, he assured his supporters that he remains fully committed to the cause and to the people of Mbarara.
Murari urged his supporters to stay focused and avoid being distracted by speculation or misinformation.
“Let’s not fuel rumors or entertain political propaganda,” he cautioned. “Most people join politics to serve their interests. I joined politics to serve my hometown — to serve the people of Mbarara City.”
He also revealed plans to hold a press conference in the coming days, during which he is expected to clarify his next political steps.
While he did not disclose specific details, Murari emphasized that he is exploring all legal and democratic options to continue advocating for change in Mbarara.
“This message is one of hope,” he concluded. “To let you know that I have been with you and will always be with you. May God bless you all.”
Supporters remain eager to hear from Murari as he prepares to outline his next course of action in the evolving political landscape of Mbarara City.
