KASESE, Uganda — Staff of Industrial Globus Limited have honoured Hon. Cadet Benjamin Buturo for his exemplary leadership and contribution to the company’s growth and development over the past eight years.
The appreciation ceremony was held at Nyakakyindo Village in Hima Town Council, Kasese District, and was attended by several local leaders, staff members, and community dignitaries. The event aimed to recognise Buturo’s commitment and service as a team leader at the company.
Speaking during the function, the Farm Manager of Industrial Globus Limited, Mr. Elad Hochberg, described Hon. Cadet Benjamin as a visionary leader whose actions have consistently prioritised community development and improved livelihoods.
“Hon. Cadet Benjamin is a true leader with a clear vision for community development. He is a man of action, and we greatly appreciate the exceptional leadership and service he has offered to the company over the last eight years,” Hochberg said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kanyankole Saidi, the Vice Chairperson of the NRM in Rubirizi District, commended Buturo for his role in initiating a factory in Kasese that has created employment opportunities for more than 350 people.
He urged the people of Bunyaruguru to continue supporting Buturo in the upcoming elections, noting that the community still needs his leadership to advance development in the area.
Kanyankole also called upon President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to consider appointing Buturo to a ministerial position, citing his dedication and outstanding service to the community. He urged Ugandans to trust Buturo’s leadership, saying he has demonstrated a strong commitment to the development of Bunyaruguru and the wider Kasese region.
In his remarks, Hon. Cadet Benjamin Buturo, the MP-elect for Bunyaruguru and team leader at Globus Farm in Kasese, thanked the people of Bunyaruguru for trusting and electing him as their leader.
He pledged to remain hardworking, committed, and transparent in his leadership while prioritising community development.
Buturo also appreciated the people of Kasese for their continued support and trust, promising to work closely with staff and community leaders to promote teamwork, transparency, and further development in the region.
