Royco Hits the Road as Unilever Launches ‘Flava Boss’ Campaign Across Uganda

Consumer goods company Unilever has launched a month-long nationwide activation campaign for its Royco seasoning brand, taking the product directly to communities through market activations across Uganda.

The campaign, dubbed “Flava Boss,” began in Busega and is expected to move through selected towns and markets across the country before concluding in Masaka at the end of the rollout period.

According to the company, the activations are intended to strengthen consumer engagement by showcasing Royco’s role in enhancing everyday meals and local dishes.

“For generations, Royco has been a trusted cooking companion in Ugandan homes, known for enhancing everyday meals with rich taste and flavor,” Grace Nandawula, Marketing Manager at Unilever, said in a statement.

“Royco has been part of Ugandan kitchens for years, and this campaign is about celebrating that connection. Through Flava Boss, we are bringing that experience directly to our consumers and reinforcing the role we play in enhancing everyday meals,” Nandawula added.

The company said the campaign would continue across different regions over the coming weeks, with activation teams expected to engage consumers in local markets nationwide.

Royco is one of Unilever’s food seasoning brands sold in Uganda and across other African markets.
