South African-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has called upon fellow celebrities to participate in fundraising for the wedding of Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and Inhebantu Jovia Mutesi, scheduled for November 18 at Christ Cathedral in Bugembe. A fundraising dinner is planned for Friday, October 27, at Kololo Independence Grounds.

During a press conference held at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel on October 26, Zari, accompanied by her husband Shakib Lutaaya, urged celebrities from Busoga, who have achieved success in various fields, to support the wedding. She emphasized that their presence alone would be a valuable contribution.

Justine Kasule Lumumba, the Minister in Charge of General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister and a member of the organizing committee for the royal wedding, encouraged people to attend the fundraising dinner and become a part of Busoga’s history. She also specified that the function would commence at 5:00 pm, with tables available for UGX 5 million and individual tickets priced at UGX 500,000.
