Faith of Unity has begun a nationwide mobilization campaign to rally support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ahead of the 2026 general elections.
The initiative was launched during a large gathering at the movement’s headquarters in Kampyemi, Muhooro Town Council, Kagadi District, drawing thousands of believers and leaders from various intambiro (healing centres) within Uganda and across the region.
Delegations from Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the United States attended the event, underscoring the Faith’s growing influence beyond Uganda’s borders.

While addressing the congregation, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, the Head and Founder of the Faith, reaffirmed the movement’s support for the NRM government. He noted that President Museveni has stood with the Faith during difficult times, a gesture he said has contributed to its expansion and recognition both locally and internationally.
Owobusobozi Bisaka urged believers to remain united and committed to protecting the progress made under the current administration. He encouraged them to participate actively in the upcoming elections and vote for President Museveni to ensure continuity, stability, and further growth of the Faith of Unity.
The mobilization launch attracted several political leaders and aspirants seeking office in the 2026 polls. Among them was Major Gen Silver Kayomba, who heads the Religion and Culture docket.

In his remarks, Maj Gen Kayomba commended Owobusobozi Bisaka for supporting government initiatives and inspiring believers to embrace hard work, entrepreneurship, and small-scale industrial ventures.
He said these efforts have significantly improved household incomes and promoted development within the Faith community.

The event marked the official start of the Faith of Unity’s structured mobilization activities ahead of the election season.
The campaign is expected to roll out across all intambiro in the coming months as the Faith intensifies engagement with its followers nationwide.
