Reports circulating on social media allege that media personality and YouTuber Allan Cruz has disappeared in the United Kingdom, where he is said to be planning to start a new life.
Sources claim Allan has informed relatives in Kampala that he may not be returning soon and asked them to take care of his household belongings in his absence. The reports further add that he even missed the burial of TikToker Suzie, whom he had supported until her passing.
Cruz’s situation comes after he was fired from BBS Terefayina, ending a nine-year stint at the Buganda-owned television station. Since then, he has been depending on earnings from his YouTube channel, which sources say have not been sufficient to sustain him in Uganda’s struggling economy.
If confirmed, Allan Cruz would join the list of Ugandan entertainers who have settled in the UK. These include singer Rabadaba, as well as comedian Kere Kere, who has often made headlines after relocating abroad for marrying a fellow man.
