Anyine Janet together with Buyinza Adam Luzindana embarked on organizing award ceremonies in 2009 with Amama Mbabazi, Gen Aronda Nyakairima, as their Patrons and President Museveni as overall supervisor. Their first award ceremony was in 2009 at Hotel Africana Kampala and was attended by David Pulkol who led External Security Organisation, Diplomats, Amama Mbabazi, etc.

The ESO’s mandate includes intelligence gathering, monitoring security and socio-economic dynamics, training and re-training staff, participating in regional and international organizations, monitoring diaspora activities, and producing and disseminating intelligence reports.

Anyine Janet belonged to the Makerere University Poor Students Association (MUPOSA), which was led by Buyinza Luzindana Adam. The two would later on belong to Makerere movement vision 2025, which was also led by Buyinza Adam Luzindana. Janet was always the Deputy to Buyinza Adam, working closely with late General Pecos Kutesa, the late Noble Mayombo, who was then leading the chieftaincy of military intelligence and later on Ministry of Defense Permanent Secretary. The two maintained links with Amama Mbabazi, who was then the super minister serving as Minister of Defense and later on Secretary General of the NRM Party. They would report directly to Amama Mbabazi who kept his doors at office and at home open widely to both Janet Anyine and Buyinza Adam. Todate, Adam Luzindana Buyinza continue to be too close to former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and always seen in family functions.

Janet Anyine is credited for spending much of her life identifying and supporting vulnerable people. She has never relented. She has lived a free and incorruptible life. She lives a very modest life, yet she can afford luxury and pomp.

She is a calm yet very senior and powerful woman. She has always explained the mission and vision of the National Resistance Movement and President Museveni.
