Sheema, Uganda – At the closure of NRM nominations for Members of Parliament and District Local Council Five leaders yesterday, 30th June, many candidates were seen making final touches.
The Western Youth MP seat was set ablaze when a young vocalist and “Lion of Sheema,” Hon. Mujuni Reinold, was nominated for the position. His nomination came at a time when no youth expected such a surprise move.
Mujuni Reinold is a native of Sheema District.
He recently broke the record when he went through unopposed for the position of Vice Chairman, NRM Youth League, Sheema District. This made all the youths in Sheema District give him the name “The Lion of Sheema.”
The NRM Youth League election in Sheema was one of the most hotly contested races, though Reinold managed to play strategic politics and went through unopposed.
Reinold won the trust of all delegates in Sheema District—an achievement that gives him more confidence and a greater chance to win others over.
In this race for Western Youth MP, Reinold is the leading competitor due to his strategic approach to politics and his visionary ideas, which have been embraced by all delegates.
His strategic vision focuses on building a self-reliant young generation through skilling programs, empowerment initiatives, and job creation strategies.
Looking forward to traversing the entire Western Region, Reinold is destined for victory, as the majority of youths are already inviting him to visit their areas.
