Soroti City Woman MP hopeful, Sarah Inachu, is gaining significant political momentum as the 2026 elections draw closer.
The political arena in Soroti City is heating up, with Sarah Inachu emerging as a strong contender for the position of Woman MP. Having recently joined the race, she is garnering widespread support from the electorate ahead of the 2026 elections.
Inachu shared with this publication that her primary goal is to empower the women of Soroti City through socio-economic transformation and wealth creation initiatives.
“As it is written, leaders are chosen by God,” said Sarah, a devoted Christian who believes in divine guidance for leadership. Quoting the Bible as a foundation for good leadership, she emphasized her commitment to serving the people of Soroti City. As a woman of God and a dedicated servant of the community, she is among the aspirants who are committed to lobbying, development, and practical leadership for the people of Soroti City from 2026 to 2031.
Sarah is described as a passionate, humble, and God-fearing leader with a heart full of love for her people. Her selflessness and humility serve as an inspiration to many. She often references Mark 10:43, which states, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
When contacted, Sarah expressed her vision for Soroti City, highlighting her plans to improve education, roads, employment opportunities, healthcare, and wealth creation, among other areas.
