Uganda welcomes the arrival of 7UP, the internationally acclaimed lemon-lime soft drink brand, promising to introduce its refreshing taste and uplifting ambiance to consumers across the country. The official launch event, hosted by Ugandan media personality JK Kazoora, took place on February 15, 2024, at La Terraza in Kampala, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s presence in Uganda.
Setting itself apart with its caffeine-free formula, 7UP offers versatility for any occasion. Whether enjoyed on its own, mixed with other beverages, or served alongside a meal, 7UP promises to inject a burst of zest and enjoyment into every moment.
In celebration of its launch in Uganda, 7UP unveils a fresh brand identity under the slogan ‘say hello to 7UP’. The new visual identity features the brand’s signature green color infused with citrus tones and dynamic lines, evoking a sense of upward energy. This updated design will adorn 7UP bottles and various marketing materials, enhancing brand visibility.
Accompanying the launch is a multi-touchpoint sampling campaign across bars, restaurants, and streets, starting on February 9, 2024. The campaign aims to showcase how 7UP can elevate moments with positivity, surprise, and upliftment, enriching consumers’ experiences in unexpected ways.
Rogers Anguzu, commercial manager at CBL, expressed excitement about introducing 7UP to Uganda, a country known for its vibrant and dynamic culture. He emphasized that 7UP has always been synonymous with refreshing upliftment through consumption, making it a natural fit to drive this narrative forward and center upliftment in everything they do. 7UP is now readily available in Uganda in 300ml and 500ml PET bottles, accessible at major supermarkets, local shops (duukas), bars, and restaurants.
