Woman’s Throat Slit in Domestic Dispute with Son in Isiolo

In a distressing incident in Isiolo, a 70-year-old woman, Safo Wako, had her throat cut during a dispute with her 28-year-old son. The grim scene unfolded in the Manyatta Dibu Dadacha area.

The police arrived at the location and discovered Safo Wako’s lifeless body in a pool of blood, with the murder weapon, a panga, found beside her severed body. The authorities swiftly moved the victim’s body to the mortuary as they initiated a search for the missing son.

Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting an ongoing search for the son to determine the motive behind the incident and take appropriate action.

In another unfortunate incident in Meru, a 35-year-old man named Julius Mutuma Mubichi passed away following a suspected assault that occurred in Gaokoromone market on October 9. He succumbed to his injuries five days later.

Additionally, in Mau Summit area, Nakuru County, a man lost his life after a dispute over a dog turned fatal. Kennedy Too, the victim, was struck on the head and subsequently died in the hospital. This incident occurred after he kicked a dog crossing the road, which angered the dog’s owner, Wesley Bett, aged 27. According to the police, Too collapsed and was rushed to Neema Medical Center, but he was later transferred to Eldama Ravine Sub County Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival. The assailant remains at large, and efforts to locate him are ongoing.

In another separate incident in Bulla Border Point area, Mandera County, a 25-year-old man, Hassan Ibrahim Adan, was admitted to the hospital with severe cuts after being attacked by an acquaintance. Adan reported that he was attacked and slashed by the individual after denying him drinking water on October 12.

The assailant entered Adan’s property and requested water, but when he was informed that there was none, he resorted to violence, cutting Adan on his upper right hand and lower abdomen. The suspect subsequently fled towards the Kenya-Somalia border.

Adan was transported to Mandera Referral Hospital and admitted in serious condition. However, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident. Police are actively investigating the attack and have sought the assistance of security officials in neighboring Somalia to locate the suspect.
