Airtel Uganda, in collaboration with TECNO Mobile Uganda and StarTimes, has unveiled the SPARK 20 Pro+, an exciting addition to the popular SPARK 20 Series. The launch event, held in Kampala, was officiated by the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Chris Baryomunsi. This collaborative effort is aimed at making affordable smartphone devices more accessible to Ugandans and bridging the digital divide.
The SPARK 20 Pro+ is part of a revolutionary smartphone series, representing the latest entrant in the constantly evolving market of mobile devices. The initiative addresses the growing demand for smartphones, transforming them from a luxury item to a necessity in today’s digital era.
During the launch, Minister Baryomunsi underscored the significance of smartphone ownership in the current digital landscape. He highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring universal connectivity for all Ugandans, stating, “As a government and a Ministry, we support all the technological efforts made by companies in this field. We endorse innovation, and the government actively promotes policies that legalize communications and airwaves.”
