Annual Rotary Golf Tournament Targets $10,000 for Charitable Initiatives

The Rotary Golf Tournament, scheduled for November 24 at the Uganda Golf Club-Kitante, is set to raise $10,000 (Sh37 million), with the goal of contributing to various charitable endeavors. The tournament was officially launched by District Governor 9213, Edward Kakembo Nsubuga, alongside members of the Rotary Club of Kyadondo.

District Governor Nsubuga outlined the objective, stating, “Our target for this tournament is to raise $10,000 for our various charitable endeavors.” He emphasized that the overarching goal for the entire year is to raise a total of $570,000.




Nsubuga highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “This tournament brings together golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and philanthropists, all united by a common goal – creating hope in the lives of those in need.” He further explained that funds raised during the tournament would contribute to Rotary initiatives focused on basic education and literacy.




The sponsors for the tournament include NCBA Bank, Uganda, the Ruparelia Group of Companies, and the Uganda Golf Club. The collaboration of these sponsors underscores the commitment to supporting charitable causes through the Rotary Golf Tournament.
