The Bushenyi District Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr. Robert Atuhairwe, has been suspended for allegedly being involved in a relationship with a 16-year-old S.3 student.

According to Kazo FM, Atuhairwe was allegedly in a relationship with a S.3 girl at Bweranyangi SS. It is alleged that late last week, on the girl’s birthday, she boasted to her classmates about her relationship with the RDC and his promise to provide the birthday cake.

Following an argument with her classmates, the girl allegedly called the RDC romantically in front of other students. The RDC reportedly responded romantically and soon arrived at the school with his guards and the cake.

Upon his arrival, a group of students greeted him enthusiastically, causing a commotion in the school.

Unfortunately, it is alleged that the Bishop, who is also the chairman of the school’s Board of Governors, was passing by the school when he noticed the commotion and took up the matter.

Following the incident, parents in Bushenyi raised concerns to the State House, demanding that the representative of the president in the district not be allowed to defile their children.

In response to the complaint, Mr. Martin was suspended from his official duties.
