Algerian and Ugandan Trade Ministers Discuss Cooperation in Kampala

Algerian Minister of Trade, Tayeb Zitouni, and his Ugandan counterpart, Francis Mwebesa, met in Kampala to discuss ways to improve cooperation between their countries.

Minister Zitouni, leading a delegation of Algerian businessmen during his official visit to Uganda, emphasized Algeria’s commitment to strengthening economic ties and promoting trade and joint investments in various sectors, in line with the directives of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

In response, Minister Mwebesa assured that Uganda would create a conducive business environment and welcome Algerian investors, keeping the Ugandan market open to Algerian traders.
