Four Points by Sheraton Opens in Kampala, Adding a New Hotel to the City

On September 5th, 2023, Four Points by Sheraton made its debut in Kampala, Uganda, marking a significant event for the city. The hotel opened its doors to the public, with a focus on providing a welcoming environment for both business and leisure travelers. This addition to Kampala’s skyline features 142 modern guest rooms, including a presidential penthouse suite, spread across eight stories.

Guests can enjoy dining at two distinct venues: El Jefe, a Caribbean-themed restaurant, and the Marketplace, an all-day dining restaurant offering international cuisine and round-the-clock service. The hotel also boasts two bars: Kololo Bar, with a diverse selection of over 100 whiskies, and The Rooftop Bar, featuring an extensive array of rum choices from around the world.

Gaurrav, the General Manager, emphasized that the hotel caters to both international travelers and locals seeking a distinctive and relaxing experience. He highlighted the availability of an enticing menu throughout the day, as well as the Four Points’ signature Best Brews™ program in the evening, featuring locally-crafted beers on tap.

The hotel plans to celebrate its grand opening event in October, where it will continue to share the Four Points by Sheraton experience with clients and guests.
