Kampala socialite and CEO of Skypins Tours and Travel, Don Chris, is under fire after closing his offices and allegedly vanishing with millions of shillings from over 300 clients. These clients had reportedly paid for visa processing services, hoping to travel to Europe and America for work opportunities.

According to reports, on Sunday evening around 8 PM, office furniture, company banners, and documents were seen being loaded onto trucks and taken to an unknown destination. Panic immediately spread among clients who had paid large sums, some evenselling property or taking loans, to secure travel abroad through Skypins.

Videos circulating online show angry clients pleading for help from the Uganda Police and prominent figures like Mama Fina, urging them to intervene and help recover their money. Many say they were promised job placements and visa support, only to be left in limbo.

What’s making the situation worse, clients claim, is that Don Chris has long been “untouchable,” allegedly protected by high-ranking security officials. This, they say, has made it nearly impossible to get justice or even trace his whereabouts.

In a voice note believed to be from Don Chris that has since gone viral, he is heard mockingly responding to the situation:

“I have already left the country. Who will vote Museveni or Bobi Wine in the next elections if everyone wants to go abroad?”

Sources suggest he may be planning to flee into exile to avoid arrest.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement, but affected clients continue to demand answers and refunds.
