(Mbale) – On November 16, 2024, a violent attack involving Imbalu boys was reported in Katwaka Cell, Bumagenyi Ward, Industrial Division, Mbale City. The group, armed with pangas, sticks, and stones, targeted several individuals, injuring a man and robbing others of their belongings.
The victim, identified as Wesonga Swaib, sustained head injuries after being struck with a panga. He was rushed to Bunampongo Health Centre III for first aid by his relatives.
The attackers also robbed other victims of various belongings, including mobile phones and other items that are yet to be identified.
Following the incident, Mbale City police apprehended three suspects: Wamimbi Bosco, Watuwa Bernard, and Wabulo Moses.
