Suzan, who worked as a food vendor and lived with her husband and their two young children, was last seen alive by Katushabe at around 11:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024. At that time, Suzan mentioned that her husband was on his way home from work at a local factory, according to police reports.

The death of 30-year-old Denis Adoli in Kwania district has left his clan leaders demanding justice as unanswered questions surround the circumstances of his demise. Adoli, a resident of Teioro Parish in Abongomola sub-county, was reportedly lynched by a mob who accused him of stealing a motorcycle. The incident occurred on Monday, leading to Adoli being severely beaten before being taken to St Luke Health Centre III in Aduku town council, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

As Adoli was laid to rest, concerns over his alleged murder echoed through the community, with leaders of the Along clan urging for a prompt investigation into the matter. Adoli’s hiring of a motorcycle to transport maize grain, followed by his claim of theft, triggered suspicion among locals, leading to the fatal assault.

During Adoli’s burial, Zumbe Adyeri Adoli, the Abongomola sub-county chairman, emphasized the importance of upholding the law and avoiding vigilante justice. He urged the community to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in apprehending suspects rather than resorting to violence.

In a message of solace, Rev. Dickens Epila, the parish priest of Abany parish in West Lango Diocese, urged the bereaved family to refrain from seeking revenge and to entrust the pursuit of justice to divine intervention.
