Senior Five Student Collapses and Dies During Exams in Bushenyi

A Senior Five student, Nickson Muyambi, aged 20, collapsed and died while sitting for end-of-year examinations at St Kagwa High School in Bushenyi District. The tragic incident occurred on Friday, November 17, at around 2:30 pm in the school’s science laboratory.

According to Godfrey Azahura, the deputy head teacher of St Kagwa High School Bushenyi, Muyambi collapsed during the examination. Fellow students rushed to his aid, carrying him to a nearby clinic, but unfortunately, he succumbed on the way.




SSP Martial Tumusiime, the spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi Police, has confirmed that inquiries have been initiated into the untimely death of the student. The body of the deceased has been transported to Kampala International Teaching Hospital Ishaka for a post-mortem examination.
