Following a murder by stabbing that occurred on December 31, 2024, in Juba Road Cell at approximately 8:00 PM, the deceased has been identified as Awany Ramadan.
The case was closely monitored by our personnel at Ojwina Police Station. Today, January 6, 2025, at around 12:00 PM, through intelligence-led information, we were able to conduct an operation that resulted in the apprehension of the following suspects:
- Ojok Emmanuel, alias Lil Chink, aged 21 years old, a local musician and a resident of Obwolo Cell, Adekokwok Ward, City West Division in Lira City.
- Okot Denis, aged 22 years old, a resident of Anai in Lira City.
- Mwaka Emmanuel, aged 25 years old, a Driver, and a resident of Ireda Estate Cell, Adekokwok Ward, Lira City East Division.
Prime suspect Ogwal is yet to be arrested, along with other associates.
