Police Probe Multiple Deaths in Busoga, Including Suspected Murder and Suicide

Multiple deaths prompt police inquiries across Busoga region, including the mysterious hanging of a female suspect in Bugweri Central Police Station’s cell.

The deceased, identified as Sarah Mudondo, was arrested for alleged theft and found hanging in her cell. Busoga East Police Spokesperson, Ms. Diana Nandawula, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing.




In a separate incident, police are searching for a 24-year-old man accused of murdering his one-year-old twin daughter due to gender bias. The suspect allegedly gave the child hot tea before strangling her to death.




Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified man was discovered in Butende village, sparking speculation of foul play. Additionally, a businessman, Mr. James Mugweri, was fatally stabbed at his home by unknown assailants posing as customers.
