The Inzu Ya Masaba cultural leader, His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, assembled a team of eminent Bamasaaba today, on January 30, 2024, to assist him in managing the cultural affairs of his kingdom. Those assembled have impeccable and tested experience in various fields and have been appointed as envoys and ministers, respectively.
The Umukuka, in effecting the appointments below, was guided by the Constitution of Uganda, the Cultural Leaders Act of 2011, the National Cultural Policy of 2019, and other local provisions that empower the cultural leader to assemble an official team to help serve his people.
Fraternal congratulatory messages are already flowing in from brotherly cultural institutions. The Government of Uganda recently pledged over 60,000,000 shillings per month to cultural institutions to enable them to serve their people, including mobilizing communities to engage in government programs, cultural points, and the harnessing and promotion of all cultural aspects of their communities. Health facilities and schools will be visited, museums will be constructed, and the youth will be empowered.
