Makerere University’s Academic Registrar has officially announced the commencement of applications for the BACHELOR OF EDUCATION EXTERNAL (BED) degree program for the upcoming 2024/25 Academic Year. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications promptly to secure a place in this three-year program.
To initiate the application process, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Shs.50,000/= along with bank charges. This payment should be made using a Payment Reference Number at any bank before submitting the system-generated Application Form to the ADMISSION OFFICE (ROOM NO. 315), LEVEL 3, in the Academic Registrar’s Department at the Senate Building, Makerere University. How to Apply:
- Visit the Institution’s Admissions URL at https://apply.mak.ac.ug.
- Sign up using your full name, email, and mobile number. It is crucial that your name matches the one on your supporting academic documents for the application to be considered valid. In case of name changes, visit the Senate Building Office 301 with an affidavit supporting the change.
- A password will be sent to both your email and mobile number.
- Change the password to one easily remembered when prompted by the system.
- Click on the “APPLY NOW” button displayed on the running scheme to fill out the form.
- Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on the “Pay for Form” button.
- Make the payment at any bank used by URA.
- Print the filled form and attach certified copies of your academic documents.
