The Makerere University College of Health Science, School of Public Health (MakSPH), and College of Business and Management, School of Statistics and Planning (MakSSP), with funding from the Impact Evaluation for Evidence-Based Decisions (IEED) project, are inviting applications for the HEST University graduate internship programme.

About the Program




The HEST Graduate Internship Programme aims to empower recent bachelor’s degree graduates by providing practical skills and hands-on experience in their respective fields. Participants will have the opportunity to work with selected partner industries, receive guidance from experienced mentors, and engage in meaningful projects to enhance their career prospects.




Eligibility Criteria




We are seeking exceptional candidates who meet the following criteria:

  1. Academic Status: Awaiting graduation or in their final semester from Makerere University (MAK), Makerere University Business School (MUBS), and Kyambogo University (KYU).
  2. Academic Performance: Participants should be under normal academic progress, as indicated by their most recent results.

Please Note: We will not consider applicants who fall into the following categories:

  • Students who are currently employed.
  • Masters degree graduates.
  • Bachelors students who graduated more than 2 years ago.

Requirements:




  • A partial or full study transcript endorsed by the Faculty/School Registrar, Head of Department, or Dean.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
