Yesterday, August 29, 2023, the Chairman of the MK Movement, who also serves as the Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, met with Mr. Steven Rutasharara, one of the primary mobilizers for the MK Movement.
In a closed discussion, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba expressed his gratitude to all foot soldiers for dedicating their time, resources, and energy to mobilize for the great MK Movement. He expressed his happiness regarding how these foot soldiers are spreading a clear ideology aimed at uniting all Ugandans.
Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba emphasized how teamwork is vital when considering the significant goals of the MK Movement. He said, “Teamwork within the MK Movement is essential for its improvement.”
The esteemed General underscored his belief in his mobilizers and his awareness of all the foot soldiers contributing to the mobilization efforts. He added, “Given the high level of engagement, effective mobilization, dynamic leadership with an action-oriented approach, our job in 2026 will be much easier.”
In his remarks, Mr. Steven Rutasharara assured Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba of the unwavering commitment and focus of Ugandans on ushering him in as our president in 2026 and beyond. Mr. Steven Rutasharara formerly headed the Protocol Team of Chairman MK Movement before the merger of all MK units into the greater MK Movement. He currently coordinates Diaspora and Baraza activities as instructed by the General.
