(Kampala) – Cash Mayanja, known as SN Powers Cash Mada, has publicly acknowledged her role in spreading false rumors about singer Jose Chameleone’s sexuality. She stated that her actions stemmed from personal hurt following a disagreement with the musician.
In a recent statement, Cash Mayanja clarified that the audio clips circulated online were untrue. She explained, “I had a disagreement with my good friend. As you know, love issues can lead to impulsive decisions. I wanted to hurt him, so I shared a false claim with someone close to him, knowing it would reach him.”
Despite the rumors, she affirmed that Chameleone is a straight man, with whom she has shared a long friendship. “I was just in love. He was busy and not giving me the time I needed, which made me angry and led me to act out,” she added.
In a separate news piece, rumors have emerged regarding singer Sheebah Karungi, suggesting that she may be expecting a child. While she has not disclosed the identity of her partner, sources indicate that the father is a UK based Ugandan music promoter known as Jeff S.
Jeff is reportedly from a well off family involved in cargo transportation between the UK and Uganda. The two are believed to have met during a festival that he organized, where Sheebah performed.
However, it appears that Jeff may be in a complicated situation, as he has another partner and children with her, and their relationship may not be stable.
