A woman from Mukono, identified as Miriam, has revealed that she recently uncovered an alleged affair between her husband and their househelp. According to Miriam, she had long believed she shared a stable and peaceful home with her spouse, raising three children together and managing a comfortable household.
Miriam reportedly explained that, like many working mothers, she relied on a househelp to assist with domestic duties while she was away at work. She said she trusted both her husband and the househelp, never imagining that they could betray her trust.
She claimed that the first signs of trouble appeared subtly. Miriam said her husband’s behavior began to change; he spent more time at home yet avoided her, often pretending to be tired at night and finding excuses to return home early during the day.
She also noted that the househelp appeared unusually confident, sometimes speaking to her husband in a tone that seemed inappropriate. Miriam stated that every time she questioned them, they acted surprised and made her feel as if she were imagining things.
