Many people assume that formal schooling is the only route to prosperity. In Kenya, this belief has been deeply rooted for years. Yet, countless individuals have built successful and wealthy lives without receiving any traditional education at all.
One example is my friend Mary, who lives in Nairobi. She was raised in a humble neighborhood where education was a privilege her family simply couldn’t afford. Still, she carried big dreams of becoming successful and helping her loved ones live a better life.
