Manafwa district , Uganda – In a shocking turn of events, the NRM youths leadership in Manafwa district has publicly disowned the malicious tactics employed by incumbent Woman MP Gorret Kitutu. Instead, they have thrown their weight behind hopeful Woman MP Annett Musibikha, citing her vision, integrity, and commitment to the people of Manafwa district.

At the center of the controversy is a forged letter allegedly written by Mandu Ivan, an apologist and operative of Hon. Gorret Kitutu. The letter claimed that Annett Musibikha is not a resident of Manafwa district, in a bid to discredit her candidacy. However, the youths leadership has vehemently denied any involvement in the letter, stating that they did not write or stamp any letter to the NRM secretariat.

“We are disappointed in Hon. Gorret Kitutu’s tactics to use us in her wars,” said Waraba Gilbert Erukana, a youths representative on the district. “We have not written any letter, and we distance ourselves from the malicious propaganda. Our endorsement of Annett Musibikha is a clear vision to our commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.”

Annett Musibikha, the hopeful Woman MP, expressed her gratitude to the NRM youths leadership for their endorsement. “I am humbled by the trust and confidence the youths have placed in me,” she said. “I promise to work tirelessly for the people of Manafwa district, to address their concerns, and to bring about meaningful development to our community.”

Musibikha also questioned Hon. Gorret Kitutu’s accountability to the people of Manafwa district. “Instead of resorting to fighting younger leaders like me, she should show us what she has done for our district,” she said. “The people of Manafwa district deserve better, and I am committed to delivering that.”

The youths of Manafwa district have rallied behind Annett Musibikha, condemning the malicious propaganda against her. “It’s time to support leaders with vision, not self-seekers,” said Khamoka Irene, vice chairperson of the youth league in Manafwa district. “Annett Musibikha has demonstrated her commitment to our community, and we are confident that she will deliver on her promises.”

Annett Musibikha’s candidacy has been gaining momentum in recent times, with many residents of Manafwa district expressing their support for her. As a good leader with good leadership skills, Musibikha has a strong track record of advocating for women’s empowerment and community development.

The endorsement by the NRM youths leadership is a significant boost to Musibikha’s campaign, as she prepares to face off against incumbent MP Gorret Kitutu, Rose Mutonyi and many others in the upcoming elections. With the youths’ support, Musibikha is poised to give Kitutu a run for her money, and potentially bring about a new era of leadership to Manafwa district.
