Kenya’s CNN reporter Larry Madowo has taken to social media to critique Uganda’s Chief of Defense Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, for expressing admiration for Nigerian singer Ayra Starr.

The General, known for his active tweeting, mentioned on his timeline that his grandfather has granted him the freedom to pursue any woman he desires in the world.

He further stated that he plans to win over Ayra Starr. The “Rush” singer is widely recognized as one of the most talented and attractive artists on the continent, attracting attention from many men, including Muhoozi.

“My late Grandfather…Mzee Amos gave me permission to get any woman on earth! I will capture that girl…Ayra Starr,” Gen Muhoozi tweeted.

This revelation caught Madowo off guard, prompting him to respond on his timeline, questioning how the President’s son and CDF could be pursuing a woman who is 28 years his junior.

“Uganda’s military chief – and President Museveni’s son – publicly thirsting over a woman 28 years younger than him.”

It’s important to note that Muhoozi, nicknamed the “tweeting General,” has been sharing provocative tweets during this festive period. When asked about his tweets, he remarked that they are meant to be humorous and not taken seriously.

However, his recent tweets have seemed to cross lines and appear to strain the country’s diplomatic relations with other nations. This includes comments about Kenya and Sudan, where he threatened to take control of both Nairobi and Khartoum. Additionally, months ago, he made threats to expel the U.S. Ambassador William Popp from Uganda.
