Molly Kamukama (former PPS), Toyota Kaguta, and Emma gang up to use money and state influence for Youth elections

It’s alleged the three bigwigs, in conjunction with some NRM EC officials, are the reasons behind the mess in youth elections.

It’s said that huge sums of money exchanged hands to extend the election date after realizing their candidate was not favored by youth.

Mercy Kanyesigye, a cousin sister to gold mogul Emma Ruhakana Akandwanaho, was on the verge of getting the least number of votes in the National Female Youth MP race. Through their powers, the elections were intentionally delayed until they were canceled.

It should be known that on the day of voting, Emma Ruhakana Akandwanaho, in cahoots with yet-to-be-identified security operatives, assisted over 1,000 non-delegates with party cards to access the venue from the downer gate.

When the information leaked, the authentic youth delegates decided to arrest them, but security still released them thereafter .

Immediately after the postponement of the election, the team started off that they called all RDCs to support Mercy Kanyesigye. Meetings with youth leaders kicked off, and he has been promising them appointments as RDCs.

On the other hand, Emma Ruhakana Akandwanaho, Molly Kamukama, and Michael Toyota staged at Grand Global Hotel and have been paying youth voters 400k each.

In a clip making rounds on different social media platforms, Toyota is seen decampaigning one of the contestants for not having connections and direct links to Statehouse like Mercy Kanyesigye does. This has, however, annoyed most youth.

The youth, however, have made a bold resolution to take every money from the powerful and connected individuals but will vote their choice.
