The theatre and maternity ward were constructed under DRDIP, with theatre equipment procured by UNHCR, located at Itula Health Center III in Itula sub-county.
During the commissioning ceremony, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Obongi, Mr. Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, expressed gratitude to the NRM government for providing funds to Obongi as a refugee-hosting district.
