Presidential Advisor Mr. Sam Engola, in charge of Lango sub-region, has received a very warm political welcome as he fully commits to contesting the Erute South MP race in the upcoming 2026 general election. The Erute South MP hopeful, Hon. Sam Engola, has fulfilled his pledges of promoting education standards among learners in Lira district, whether in Parliament or not.
Engola, who stood and lost against UPC candidate Hon. Jonathan Odur in the 2021 election, pledged during his campaign rallies that he would not cease supporting the electorate of Erute South, whether elected or not.
This time around, Engola has distributed educational materials to all schools in Erute South. In fulfillment of his pledge, the esteemed Lango leader has donated a set of examination papers to all primary schools in Erute South.
Through his committee, Honorable Engola Sam also launched the Erute South Education Committee, aimed at improving performance in all primary schools located in Lira district.
Meanwhile, as schools in Lira district prepare for term one exams, Presidential Advisor Hon. Sam Engola has already donated examination papers to all primary schools in Erute South as a means of enhancing academic excellence among learners.
However, several voters in Erute are urging him to stand against the current incumbent MP. One voter from Amac town council, Erute South in Lira district, identified only as Tom, expressed that Mr. Engola Sam is a highly committed leader dedicated to promoting education levels in Erute South, demonstrating love for the struggling community.
Another NRM supporter in Bar sub-county, a 44-year-old woman named Hellen, told this publication that Engola is the most suitable candidate for parliament in 2026.
Mr. Sam Engola is a renowned NRM die-hard supporter who recently served as NRM vice chairman for the Northern region. He was a Minister before being appointed as Presidential Advisor in charge of Lango sub-region by H.E the President.
