Apac, Uganda – A renowned political analyst, ONC/NRM mobilizer, and law student, Bernard Otim Odoch, has confirmed to The Ankole Times newspaper that his move to contest as Maruzi MP has gained more support. Maruzi North parliamentary hopeful Otim Odoch is more than ready to contest in the forthcoming general election in 2026.
This has caused excitement among the electorate from all walks of life as Odoch promised to kick poverty out of Maruzi North once he is elected into office as an MP. Otim Odoch is now a very popular figure in Maruzi North as voters consider him the only answer to wealth creation, poverty eradication, job creation, clean water access, capable leadership, among other developments yet to be witnessed in the district of Apac.
As a strong believer in NRM party ideology, Otim told this publication that he will coordinate with the government to offer better service delivery to the people of Maruzi North, Apac district, and the entire Lango sub-region. Odoch narrated to our reporter on Sunday afternoon that he is really hopeful and confident of winning the votes against the incumbent legislator.
Otim is described by many voters as a community brand. Several political analysts in the Lango sub-region and platforms describe him as a potential candidate with the best vision and political agenda for the people of Maruzi North. He is currently preaching the message of wealth creation.
