Kampala, Uganda — The Director of Mobilisation for the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Michael Mawanda, on Wednesday held a meeting with Mr. Emmanuel Senga, a Ugandan living in Norway, who paid him a courtesy visit at the PLU secretariat in Naguru, Kampala.
Mawanda, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Igara East in Bushenyi District and Vice Chairperson of Kampala International University, received the visitor as part of ongoing engagements aimed at strengthening the organisation’s support base both locally and in the diaspora.
During the meeting, Senga expressed his interest in joining and supporting the PLU Diaspora Chapter based in Denmark, highlighting the growing involvement of Ugandans living abroad in the activities of the patriotic movement.
Mawanda welcomed the gesture, noting that diaspora support plays a crucial role in expanding the organisation’s reach and promoting its mobilization agenda among Ugandans worldwide.
The meeting forms part of the Patriotic League of Uganda’s broader strategy to strengthen networks with supporters both within the country and abroad as the organisation continues to grow its membership and influence.
The two concluded the meeting with a message of unity and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in advancing the movement’s objectives.
