Jinja-based bantamweight boxer Salimat Tibesigwa is preparing for her upcoming match against fellow countrymate Christine Aja at Luweero Recreation Ground on October 14. This fight is not for a title. Tibesigwa is making her return to the boxing ring after a three-month break, which was caused by her inability to obtain a visa for a lucrative fight in Dubai in August.

The match against Aja is highly anticipated and organized by Great Strikers International.
