RESPONSE TO THE DECISION REGARDING MY SUSPENSION FROM THE NATIONAL UNITY PLATFORM (NUP)
I have noticed discussions circulating on social media about my recent suspension from the National Unity Platform (NUP). I want to take this opportunity to clarify the situation.
While it is true that there have been disagreements and misunderstandings within the party, it is essential to approach them with patience and respect for the party’s procedures and timeline.
I acknowledge the concerns raised by some members regarding various issues within the party, whether it pertains to leadership decisions or internal processes. It is crucial that these concerns are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.
As a member of NUP, I remain committed to its principles and values of inclusivity and democratic governance. It is imperative that we uphold these principles even in times of disagreement or challenge.
I urge everyone to remain calm and refrain from spreading misinformation or engaging in actions that may harm the unity of the party. Let us focus on constructive dialogue and finding solutions to the issues at hand.
I am confident that through open and respectful communication, we can overcome these challenges and continue to work towards our shared goals within the National Unity Platform.
I appreciate the support and understanding of all members during this time, and I remain committed to serving the people of Uganda with integrity and dedication.
