New Car Parking Rates at Entebbe Airport Effective November 1

(Entebbe) – Revised car parking rates will be implemented at Entebbe International Airport beginning November 1, 2024, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance facilities and improve the passenger experience. The current parking rates have remained unchanged since October 1, 2009.

For short-stay parking, the fees for the first hour are set at Uganda shillings five thousand (5,000) for saloon cars and station wagons, eight thousand (8,000) for vans and minibuses, and ten thousand (10,000) for lorries, trailers, trucks, and buses. Each additional hour of parking will incur a charge of Uganda shillings one thousand (1,000) across all vehicle categories.

In terms of long-term parking, the fee for the first day will be Uganda shillings thirty thousand (30,000), with subsequent days priced at ten thousand (10,000) each. To discourage prolonged parking, vehicles left in the long-term car park for more than 30 days will incur a hefty charge of Uganda shillings two hundred thousand (200,000) for each additional day. Parking for longer than 30 days is not recommended.

Detailed parking rates for all categories, including monthly rates for frequent users, are available in a flyer that can be accessed on the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) website at www.caa.co.ug and through their social media platforms.

For further inquiries, the UCAA encourages interested parties to reach out to Vianney M. Luggya, the Manager of Public Affairs, via email at vluggya@caa.co.ug or by phone at +256-312-352020.
