India Donates Vehicles for NAM Summit in Kampala

The Indian Government has made a significant donation to the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Kampala, Uganda. The donation includes five ambulances, four buses, 10 tractors, as well as all the NAM member state flags and flag boards. The vehicles and equipment are expected to be utilized during the NAM Summit scheduled to commence on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Indian High Commissioner Upender Singh Rewat formally handed over the donation to Gen. Jeje Odongo, Uganda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a ceremony on Friday, January 12, 2024. The gesture reinforces the strong bilateral relationship between India and Uganda, with the promise of continued cooperation.
