The Ghetto Kids were treated to a day of immense joy during their exploration of the Tooro region, courtesy of the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities. The ministry extended a generous gesture by providing a fully funded four-day trip to Western Uganda as a token of appreciation for the talented young performers.
Under the guidance of their manager, Dauda Kavuma, the journey unfolded through the scenic hills of Ntoroko, leading the group to Semliki National Park.
Within the park, the young stars immersed themselves in the splendor of nature, participating in activities such as bird-watching and discovering the captivating male and female Hot Springs.
The excitement peaked at the female Hot Springs, where many of the kids had the opportunity to cook eggs, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of hot water gushing into the air.
Continuing their adventure, the group explored the Nakamura Crater Trail, ascending Kyeganywa Hill to enjoy a breathtaking view of the three crater lakes that surrounded it.
This four-day expedition was not merely a getaway; it served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the Ghetto Kids’ recent success on Britain’s Got Talent.
Their role as tourism ambassadors was acknowledged, recognizing their significant contribution to showcasing Uganda globally, including their presence at the recently concluded World Cup. The journey stood as a celebration of their achievements and a testament to their impact on promoting Uganda on the global stage.
