Ugandan Woman Passes Away in Canada, Burial to Be Held in Toronto

The Ugandan community in Canada is mourning the death of Rabibah Nankinga a woman in her early 30s who recently moved from Kawempe, Kampala to Canada in July 2023.

According to family and community members, Nankinga passed away under difficult circumstances. Her relatives have decided that she will be laid to rest in Canada, with the exact burial date yet to be confirmed.

In the meantime, a vigil will be held tonight at UMAC Mosque, 1945 Weston Road, Toronto, where friends, relatives, and members of the community are invited to gather in prayer and support for the bereaved family.

Community leaders have encouraged Ugandans and well-wishers to stand with the family during this painful time as they finalize the necessary documents to attend the burial.
